국문초록	이 연구는 한국십진분류법 제6판의 불교(220) 분류체계가 현대의 다양하고 세분화된 불교 관련 주제를 효과적으로 분류하고, 이용자의 접근성이 향상될 수 있는 분류표를 개선하는 데 있다. 연구의 이론적 배경은 문헌적 근거에 기초하여 문헌량의 다과로 기준 조정이 필요한 실용적 논리가 있고, 최근 불교관련 자료의 출판 동향은 명상, 심리치료 등 실용적이고 융합적 주제로 확장되고 있다는 것이다. 그러나 KDC6는 이러한 변화를 수용하기에 구조적 한계가 있다고 보았다. 이에 우리나라에서 최근 5년 동안의 불교 관련 주제의 출판 동향과 문헌적 근거를 적용하여 분류 배정 비율을 살펴보았다. 그리고 KDC6, CLC5, NDC10에서 불교관련 주제에 대한 분류표를 비교 분석하였다. 분석 결과를 바탕으로, 학술적 체계성과 현대적 실용성을 강화하는 분류표 개선(안)을 제시하였다. 개선(안)의 내용을 요약하면, 첫째, ‘불교 교리￫ 경전￫역사/인물￫종파/조직￫수행(실천)￫문화/예술￫사회’라는 논리적 흐름을 확립한 것이다. 둘째, CLC5와 NDC10의 특징을 수용하여 불교 경전을 경․율․론의 삼장(三藏) 체계로 동위항목하여 세분화하였다. 셋째, 수행(실천)을 현대화하여 ‘명상’, ‘심리’ 등 새로운 주제를 배치하고, 유사 주제의 분산된 항목들을 통합하였다. 넷째, 종파를 사상적, 역사적 흐름에 따라 구성하고, 라마교를 통합하여 논리성을 확보하였다.
영문초록	This study aims to effectively classify modern and subdivided Buddhism-related topics in the 6th ed. of the KDC and to improve classification tables that can improve user accessibility. The theoretical background of the study is that there is a practical logic that requires adjustment to the standard of refreshments in the amount of literature based on literary warrant, and the recent trend of publishing Buddhist-related materials is expanding to practical and convergent topics such as meditation and psychotherapy. However, KDC6 saw structural limitations in accepting these changes. Accordingly, the classification assignment ratio was examined by applying the publishing trend and literary warrant of Buddhist-related topics over the past five years in Korea. In addition, classification tables on Buddhism-related topics were compared and analyzed in KDC6, CLC5, and NDC10. Based on the analysis results, a classification table improvement (draft) that reinforces academic system and modern practicality was presented. To summarize the contents of the improvement (draft), first, it established the logical flow of ‘Buddhism￫Buddhist scriptures ￫history/people￫sect/organization￫performance(practice)￫culture/art￫society’. Second, by accepting the characteristics of CLC5 and NDC10, the Buddhist scriptures were subdivided into three-part systems of Scriptures, Precepts, and Doctrinal writings. Third, by modernizing performance (practice), new themes such as ‘meditation’ and ‘psychology’ were placed, and distributed items of similar topics were integrated. Fourth, the sect was organized according to ideological and historical trends, and Lamaism was integrated to secure logic.
